List of AmericaView Responsibilities Under the AmericaView-eMap Agreement

This list summarizes the responsibilities of individuals purchasing imagery under the AmericaView (AV)-eMap agreement, as described in detail in the DIGITALGLOBE(r) PRODUCT END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT and the GeoEye Data Single or Multiple Organization License.  The responsibilities below apply to all individuals utilizing imagery purchased under the AV-eMap agreement including the AV member that purchased the data; all members of their research team (such as other non-AV academics, government organizations, non-profits, commercial entities, etc); and all individuals at their respective University that utilize the imagery for teaching purposes.

• AV members and their respective academic institutions can use this data for teaching purposes once the data has been purchased and delivered. Further, this data can be used for the specific research project for which it was purchased (i.e. non-profit generating activities) and shared among the AV member’s research team. This data cannot however be used for any research projects other than the project for which it was purchased. The scope of the research project should be stated upfront.
• All data purchased by AV and used under this discount agreement shall have the eMap International logo and the respective imagery provider (either DigitalGlobe or GeoEye) prominently displayed when used in presentations. The logo can be displayed in a location other than on top of the imagery (for instance, at the end of a presentation). This includes use in an educational or research setting. When publishing an academic paper, credit should be given with a written tag (logo is not necessary) along side or below the imagery.
• All data purchased by AV shall be governed by the End User License Agreements included as Attachment A.
• Assure that all parties applying for discounts under this contract have a current AV Member on the project team.
• AV members will share the final products of the specific projects for which the imagery is purchased. These final products can also be shared with the partners of eMap International as well as the respective imagery provider (either DigitalGlobe or GeoEye) for marketing purposes.
